The first time we saw the chipmunk this year was on April, 6. He was sitting on top of the waterwheel above the fountain. The movie was taken from the dining-room window.

The black Chipmunk (Aug, 24, 2010)
Marie-Annick having heard from some friends at work that there was a black chipmunk at Constance Bay (about 50 km from Ottawa), we decided to go and have a look. There were several people who had the same idea (one can hear them commenting in the background). That kind of chipmunk is not very commun. It’s a case of melanism.
