This summer, we were lucky to have a hummingbird visit our garden. I managed to film him, but it was not easy because he was changing directions very fast. He flaps his wings at about 80 times per second but because of the stroboscopic effect (the camera only takes pictures at 30 frames per second), one gets the impression that the wings flap somewhat slower.
